Because of its compact size compared to most other houses in the Hida region, it would be ideal to use it as a vacation house. It features a large, curved beam that makes you feel the age of the house and the time when it was built in. These kinds of massive beams are no longer used in modern Japanese houses. Currently, the attic is partly used as a loft, but it can also be pulled out entirely to create an open plan. We would also recommend combining it with another house to use it as a private house for guests.
